What we did

 

We worked closely with stakeholders from Cedar College, to recreate a school wide experience via the use of social media. Communication goes beyond just emails. We leveraged Instagram to pass on messages of function along with wellbeing by running multiple campagins and using Facebook as a means to involve parents and prospective students more with the day to days of Cedar. Our goal was to keep Cedar relevant with not just its current students, but also those past and future.

 

What stood out

 

As pioneers of digital media and communications in the realm of private education in Pakistan, our efforts to spread awareness of Cedar College’s brand name spread far beyond the city of Karachi. A tool which seemed to catch the eyes of many was Cedar’s very own podcast: “Listen Up!”.

 

What’s next

 

During the COVID-19 lockdown, we helped streamline internal communications.The team at Backspace also deployed, onboarded and curated a school wide community management platform to provide a holistic school experience. With the network expanding at a fast rate, Backspace stays by their side to strategically build the brand and support the comms whenever needed.
