THE STORY
mycavago.com is the world’s first equestrian travel based website. It was founded in 2019 by Tauseef Qadri, a mentor and friend at Backspace, who has been known as a ‘horse whisperer’ and equestrian specialist (among many other things) in leading facilities globally. A disruptive platform that bridges something boldly natural and free-spirited with AI and data was fascinating to begin with. Team Backspace set up a Cavago division and embarked on community building online to test the waters.
WHAT WE DID
A simple horse lovers community established the brand’s presence on Instagram and consequently Facebook, bringing together a wide variety of hearty followers. This started an ongoing conversation around the Cavago platform and its various features. We assess and interpret insightful data generated by the content online, help onboard hosts, support the UX and build the brand while keeping its passionate purpose alive.
WHAT STOOD OUT
We learn on our feet each day, as equestrian consultants help us navigate the incredible finesse and rich culture that surrounds horse riding disciplines world wide. Curating and creating some phenomenal photography and some heartfelt videos to build digital engagement. (Also, we learnt each horse has what they call a ‘horse-nality’ - did you know that?)
WHAT’S NEXT
Cavago is fast aggregating facilities that are looking to open their doors to the world of riders - be it a barn, a ranch, a polo ground, a riding camp or a dressage clinic - through its platform on the web. Next time we travel, maybe even we could book a beginner-level ride, take a breather from city life!
